To encounter prayer is also to encounter ourselves. In Unity, prayer is not something we do to appease a being outside of us; prayer is a way of becoming present to our own longing. Prayer is a process that reveals what we seek to experience, express, or know more fully. In this second sermon in Rev. Stacy's series on Unity prayer, she will suggest that, rather than searching for the right words to solicit divine assistance, we can begin to listen to the words that arise and notice what they reveal about the life, possibility, or gift seeking to emerge through us.
