Transition News

We are sorry to announce that Rev. Richard Bunch, our Transition Minister, will be stepping down at the end of 2025.  Please see his letter of resignation, attached below, for details.

In light of Rev. Richard's departure, the Board of Trustees is working on plans for managing the remaining transition period prior to our hiring of a permanent Senior Minister.  Peggy Rooth, who so kindly and professionally handled the coordination of Sunday speakers prior to Rev. Richard's arrival, is again coming to UOC's rescue by coordinating speakers for 2026.  She has already secured the services of Rev. Catherine Klein for two Sundays a month through March and is working on other speakers to fill the other Sundays going forward.  Our heartfelt thanks to Peggy for this tremendous help!

We are also very excited to announce that the Minister Search Team has completed UOC's Minister Vacancy Packet, which has been submitted to Unity Worldwide Ministries and is posted on their website, here: https://unityworldwide.org/job-board/33DD7Q4

The Minister Search Team did an amazing job writing this very lengthy document, which includes three videos highlighting UOC and its members!  Peggy Rooth wrote an affirmation (below) that we encourage everyone in the congregation to affirm daily as we move ahead with our Senior Minister Search.

So, Divine Spirit is leading us to our new Senior Minister, who will arrive to UOC in Divine Order!
