Unity of Charlottesville welcomes first-time and seasoned meditators to join in a day of rest, reflection, and preparation. Our Sanctuary provides sacred space for mindful movement, listening, journaling, and seated meditation.
We gather in sacred community at the half-way point between the Summer Solstice and Autumnal Equinox to pause, notice, and move with care into right action. Inspired by the Gaelic early harvest festival Lúnasa (Lughnasadh), our retreat will focus on the themes of rhythm, ripening, and appreciation.
Come as you are: No need to prepare or extend any extra effort. Be held.
Facilitated by Karolyn Kinane, contemplative guide & educator.
