Unity of Charlottesville’s Annual Fall Fundraiser

October 24 – November 24, 2024

As summer turns to fall, we have so much to be grateful for at Unity of Charlottesville. At our annual meeting last Sunday, the Board of Trustees, reviewed some of the accomplishments of the past year. We are, indeed, a loving and thriving spiritual community.

But we also have some challenges ahead as the balloon payment of our mortgage comes due in March, 2025, and we will need to refinance. In addition, a comprehensive inspection of our facilities by an independent building inspector has given us an indication of needed repairs and maintenance to our church building that is now eighteen years old. These include aging HVAC units, some minor roof repair, and additional repairs to the outside structure of the church buildings.

We are so grateful for the generous donations that support our beloved Unity community. At this time of year, we are asking that you prayerfully consider an extra gift so that we may prepare for the needed repairs and improvements at Unity. (The Unity Building and Grounds Report is available to view in our church office.) Our goal is to raise $25,000.

Our Fall Fundraiser will run from Thursday, October 24 through Sunday, November 24, Unity’s annual Thanksgiving service. You are cordially invited to attend our service and Thanksgiving potluck lunch afterwards.
