Many cultures celebrate a “thinning of the veil” around this time of year. Let us listen together.
As we embark on the final approach to the December solstice, let’s gather to honor ALL those
who brought us forth and gifted us with our remarkable DNA and our incredible environment.
We learn how we want to live and what we do not choose to practice from our ancestors. We
learn about diversity, interdependency, and the voice of every single part of creation from the
cosmos and our beautiful planet.
You are invited to carry a small token of remembrance of any forebear—human or
otherwise—as we find ourselves in the midst of the sixth mass extinction. We can honor one
another’s praises and tears.
