Accunect: When stress occurs the body becomes less efficient at healing itself. This causes illness and disease on all levels – mind, body and spirit. As the body becomes aware of areas of imbalance/stress in areas that need to be addressed, it naturally redirects resources to those areas. This could be at the physical, emotional, mental and environmental levels (including a blockage in the acupuncture meridian system). The practitioner uses a gentle muscle-checking technique to facilitate the body’s internal awareness to redirect its focus on these areas and facilitate the body’s return to balance on all levels of the mind, body and spirit of an individual. This allows the body’s systems to move from fight or flight (stress) mode to parasympathetic (healing) mode. Body Talk System: BodyTalk is an astonishingly simple and effective holistic therapy that allows the body’s energy systems to be re-synchronized so they can operate as nature intended. Crystal Healing Lights: Crystal light healing consists of seven Brazilian vogel cut guartz crystals suspended above the body’s seven energy centers. Each crystal has been cut to pulsate at a specific frequency and color. Eden Energy Medicine is the work of contemporary teacher and healer, Donna Eden, and embraces the ancient wisdom of disciplines such as acupuncture, yoga, Qi Gong, and more. Eden Energy Medicine techniques harmonize the body’s subtle energies, which support health, vitality, and positive emotions. It is also a wonderful complement to other medical and self-care approaches. Embodyment® Yoga Therapy: Benefits include: deep relaxation; reduced stress; ease in one’s body; and, a simultaneous sense of being grounded and uplifted. One session of Embodyment® therapy is said to have the equivalent effect of 6 yoga classes. The therapy itself is based on the theory that consciousness leads to healing and transformation. Embodyment® yoga therapy is a one-on-one body-work modality in which the client rests in Shavasana, i.e. yoga’s relaxation pose, while the therapist brings her hands-on attention to a particular area of the client’s body. Healing Touch is used in a wide variety of settings including hospitals, long-term care facilities, private practices, hospices, and spas. Intuitive Development : Held on Monday evenings, each week the Intuitive Development circle includes exercises and meditation to develop our four “clairs”: clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, and claircognizance. Matrix Reimprinting is a highly effective modality that evolved from Emotional Freedom Technique (or EFT Tapping.) We carry the impact of past negative events in our minds, bodies and energy systems. We also develop false, self-limiting conclusions about life (negative learning) from these painful events. Prenatal Yoga: Prenatal Yoga classes (in the Svaroopa® style) are gentle and help to make the mom-to-be more comfortable throughout her pregnancy, to smooth and speed her labor and delivery, and to create a healing resilience for her recovery. Reflexology, practiced for more than 3,000 years, is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet and hands. Ancient wisdom teaches that these reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems. Pressing these areas creates real healthful benefits. Deep relaxation and more restful sleep are two wonderful results of a reflexology session. Reiki: A word meaning “spiritually guided life force energy,” is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes deep levels of healing. It is administered by a gentle “laying on of hands”, on or off the body, and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A practitioner certified in Reiki becomes harmonized with this energy and its natural expression. Reiki brings the body into harmony by relieving physical and emotional blockages. Soul Writing: Soul writing is a written form of meditation in which you enter an altered state of consciousness through deep relaxation. While in that meditative state, you are able to connect to your Divine Source, ask a question, and then receive a written response. This form of guided writing provides answers to life’s most profound questions and can be applied to many aspects of every day life. With soul writing you can get guidance on specific topics; use it for psychoanalysis and healing; enhance your psychic abilities; acquire inspiration in various creative art forms; explore previous lifetimes; obtain answers on esoteric topics; get insights for soul’s growth; and as a means of being in service to others. Therapeutic Massage: Massage is a form of healing and relaxation that has been around for centuries. In our modern world, extensive research has shown that therapeutic massage not only works well in prevention and health maintenance, but also yields great results in treating specific conditions caused by overuse, injuries, postural imbalances, etc. Therapeutic massage can provide anything from soothing relaxation to deeper therapy for specific physical problems. It can reduce your stress, anxiety, muscle tension and stiffness; increase the nourishing blood supply to your tissues; improve your energy and alertness; aid your recovery from pulled muscles or sprained ligaments; ease many of the uncomfortable stresses of child bearing, including edema, backaches, and exhaustion; relieve pain and promote healing of certain repetitive motion injuries related to on-the-job activities; compensate, at least in part, for lack of exercise and muscular contraction if you’re a person who, because of age, injury or illness, is forced to remain inactive. Once your massage is underway, several beneficial reactions are set in motion. Your massage can hasten the elimination of metabolic waste from your muscles; increase the interchange of substances between your blood and tissue cells, including the release of endorphins into the bloodstream; and stimulate the relaxation response within your nervous system. Transformational Mandala work: The healing power of the mandala, or sacred circle, has been used for thousands of years. The process of creating and exploring your mandala can open a deep connection to your intuition and inner guidance and unblock your inner wellspring of creativity. A mandala session starts with setting an intention and a brief guided meditation. Gentle movement may be woven into the meditation. Then, creating your mandala intuitively flows from the meditation. The methods and materials used to create and explore your mandala are simple, easy and gentle. The contact that you make with your deeper self during this process can be profound. No artistic experience is necessary! There is no right or wrong way to create your mandala – only your way. When your mandala is complete, we’ll use some intuitive methods to explore and integrate its message and wisdom. Couples and group mandala sessions are available. Transformational Sandtray: is a dynamic process for personal and spiritual growth. It helps you to understand and explore your inner landscape in 3-D and bring conscious healing into your life by providing a snapshot of your inner cast of characters and their relationships with one another. People frequently experience “AHA!” moments of insight into current life challenges with this method that may then lead to solutions that you weren’t yet aware of. The power of this work lies in its 3-D, tactile nature, along with its ability to show you the big picture visually. Most people find the experience to be fascinating, enjoyable and liberating. During a session, a tray filled with sand and hundreds of miniature objects are made available to you. Using as many or as few objects as you need, you intuitively and spontaneously create your “sand landscape” — a sacred, rich and vital expression of your inner being. There is no right or wrong way to create your sand landscape – only your way. You can bring any problem or issue to a session, or you can choose to see what the process has to show you about your inner world at the current time. Zero Balancing (ZB) is like counseling without words, acupuncture without needles, massage without oil, and yoga without effort. It is a hands-on body/mind therapy that combines the Western view of anatomy and quantum physics with the Eastern view of energy and healing. A clear state of balance helps relieve pain and suffering, provides a foundation for health and happiness, and brings a person closer to his or her true nature.
