PRAYER SUPPORT AT UOC
Unity is a positive path for spiritual living. With the universal teachings and inspiration of Jesus, Unity of Charlottesville and the world wide Unity movement has its foundation in prayer. Do you have a prayer request? Is there something weighing on your heart that you seek answers or guidance too? Do you wish simply to praise God and celebrate? UOC offers you six avenues of prayer support.
Unity Prayer Partners
Unity Prayer Partners are available immediately after the church service every Sunday at the left of the stage to pray individually with any person. All prayer is confidential.
The Healing Helpers pray in a group immediately after church every Sunday at the back of the sanctuary. All prayer is confidential.
Silent Prayer Team
The Prayer Team prays for 30 days with all prayers submitted in the Prayer Box, located in the church lobby. Prayer requests are also sent to Silent Unity at Unity’s World Headquarters where prayers are held for 30 days.
Janis M. Travers Meditation Center
This lovely meditation room on the UOC campus is available 24/7 for prayer, meditation and reflection. Contact the church office for access. Please do not bring food or drink into this room, and remove shoes before entering (inside slippers acceptable). Please also make sure to turn off lights, adjust the thermostat and lock doors before leaving.
Unity is a not-for-profit spiritual growth center based on the teachings of Jesus and the healing power of prayer. The Unity approach to prayer is affirmative, based on positive prayers and affirmations that have universal, interfaith appeal. Silent Unity is available 24/7, ready to offer you free confidential prayer support whenever you want it.
The Unity movement’s 24/7 prayer lines have been operating for over 100 years for non-denominational prayer support. You can reach a live person for prayer anytime of day or night by calling (800) 669-7729.
You may also REQUEST PRAYER ONLINE at Silent Unity. All prayers are confidential.
